Entering

• You need to be a member of a cycling club affiliated with CyclngNZ. You can join ours if you don’t already have one!
• You need a licence.
  • To enter one of the UCI categories (U19, U23 and Elite) you will need a national (or international) 2026 licence. https://www.cyclingnewzealand.nz/get-your-licence/. National licences in 2025 U19 $61, U23 and Elite $82.45. 2026 licences will be available to purchase from Wednesday 19th November 2025
  • To enter any of the other categories you need to buy a “day licence”. This is usually $10. Alternativtely, if you want a licence for the whole year it is about $61 for U17 and younger and $82.45 for Masters. You can’t buy a day licence for UCI categories
• You need to pay the race entry fee. Coming soon!

This is going to be a very big tiring weekend so the more people we have helping the more we can share the load. Please fill in the form to indicate your interest in helping at this event. I think you need to be aged 18 and over.

Venue

The Crocodile XC MTB Park is located adjacent to Halswell Quarry in Christchurch, New Zealand. It is managed by the Christchurch Singletrack Club. The city bus map can be found here https://go.metroinfo.co.nz/mtbp/en-gb/arrivals/content/routes. The course is a short walk from the 100 bus. It is 16 km from the Christchurch International Airport by car and 11 km from the park to the city centre.

The nearest supermarket is New World in Nicholls Road.

Accommodation

There are Ed Sheeran concerts on the same weekend. If you have trouble finding affordable accommodation, please get in touch with us.
